Women in STEM continue to be disproportionately underrepresented, even more so for Black women. Our program is driven to diversify innovation and inspire Black girls by showing how bright a future career in STEM can be. From exploring coding, robotics, and health sciences to engineering and more, our curriculum also incorporates sports to get bodies moving and art to get creative juices flowing. At the end of our 6-week program, our graduates step into employment and volunteer positions at LBC, inspiring other girls not to underestimate themselves and choose STEM.
